Green Day has sold over 65 million copies of their albums worldwide with 24 639 million in the United States . Green Day has won 5 Grammy Awards: Best Alternative Album for Dookie, Best Rock Album for American Idiot, Record of the Year for Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Best Rock Album for the twice for 21st Century Breakdown and Best Musical Show Album for American Idiot.

Joe Amstrong (guitarist/vocalist) was born 17 Februari, 1972 in Oakland, California. His full name is Billie Joe Amstrong. His mother, Ollie wrong to write the name when Billie was born. Mike Dirnt (bassist) was born 4 may, 1972 in Berkeley, California. His full name is Michael Ryan Pritchard. Mother of Mike is addicted to heroin. He has been given for adoption.

Tre Cool (drummer) was bron 9 December, 1972 in Willits, California. His full name is Frank Edwin Wright III. He is a musician and drummer native America with punk rock band america is Green day.
