Power Pop

For me genre music is differentiate between the band with another band and I want to talk about genre music Power Pop.

This genre is most popular which interesting from Pop Rock in the 1960’s. England and America is source Power Pop music in the first is The Beatles and The Beach Boys. At the end 1970’s and at the beginning of the 1980’s. This year get a heyday because The Knack (band with genre power pop). They are debut with their single is “My Sharona”. Power Pop can said genre that is very stable and can’t have up and down. Because in every era there is always have a potential band and remembered. At 1980’s and 2000’s this genre evolve with contemporary and follow era. Weezer is band with genre power pop music at 1990’s, through Blue Album and single Hit Budyy Holly.

 At 2000’s, In this term power pop triumphant return and packaged fresh and new. Mixing elements such as electronic music, indie rock, pop punk and new wave genre make it more attractive. Then appeared bands like Fall Out Boy and Paramore.
